Wonderful cordless and easy to use,
I bought this vacuum and it works like a charm. No more cords to fall over or have to keep plugging and unplugging. Really does an excellent job on my wood floors and gets all the dust and lint vacummed. Also works good on carpets.
I do plan to get the extra battery so it will be ready at all times but you don't need to if you are willing to wait three hours for the battery to recharge.

I have a Siberian husky and four cats this thing works wonders on my hardwood floors and area rugs, my husband cannot believe the amount of hair and dirt this thing gets up, oh by the way we live on a farm so there is lots of dirt to pick up so much better than a canister vac.
The battery last about two cleanings in my home!

I first saw the Platinum stick vacuum at my daughter's. I was immediately impressed and couldn't wait to buy one for myself. It is a bit pricey but after using other "stick vacuums" and the bag never seemed to get full and you either needed to struggle with a cord or battery that didn't give the machine any pick up. The Platinum stick picks up very well. If you turn the roller brush on it picks up well on throw rugs also. The battery pack is a plus. It charges in a very short time so you aren't waiting for a day to use it again. Love it well worth the price.
